Final Cut Pro 7 Essential Training: Moving markers
In this clip, host Abba Shapiro specifies how precisely move markers to where you want them to be. He details several ways to move them, the first of which is numerically via the Edit Marker window, (which was the procedure to move markers in Final Cut Pro 1-6) as well as dragging them on the Timeline via the command key and dragging them on the Timeline, new in version 7. He also details how to remove markers from the Timeline.


The R&D Tax Credit for Game Developers
For years, the video game development cycle has become increasingly difficult to sustain. Many software companies have begun to cope with the rising costs of developing games by outsourcing development, and with the current recession, this trend is continuing. In 1981, this country faced a similar economic downturn, and in order to counteract an increasing movement of jobs overseas, Congress enacted a federal tax credit designed to spur domestic investment in research and development.

Brickyard VFX Makes a Hole-In-One for Titleist
Artist owned-and-operated bi-coastal effects boutique Brickyard VFX recently contributed VFX to the 2010 ad campaign for Titleist via ad agency Arnold. The multi-spot campaign was directed by @radical.media's Greg Kohs and began breaking before the New Year, with the last spot, "Yardage Book," breaking on Jan. 30.
